Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy S24 the S24 Plus and the Galaxy S24 Ultra on 17th of this month in California and we have some real real big news regarding the price and the specs and some cool AI features.
Galaxy S24 series specs
But before everything, let’s look at the specs sheet that was leaked too. What we can see here? 6.8 inch QHD+ 1-120 Hertz 2600 nits of peak brightness display for the ultra model and this time it will be a flat display. Except the bezels and talking about the bezels, we actually can see from the leaked renders that the bezels are going to be thinner on all the sides and symmetrical as well on even the ultra model this time. And that is really exciting.
The Galaxy S24 and S24 plus will have 6.2 inch FHD+ and 6.7 inch QHD+ 120Hz displays respectively but they will also be 1 to 120 Hz LTPO panels, will also get the same 2600 nits of peak brightness. That is really exciting because all Galaxy S24 series models are equally capable in terms of displays, but that’s not the same thing in the camera department, though.
Galaxy S24 series camera specs
The standard models will come with 50 megapixel main camera 10 megapixel 3x camera, 12 megapixel Ultra-wide angle sensor and a 12 megapixel front facing camera. The ultra though will have a 200 megapixel ISOCELL HP2SX camera. And this one has few great capabilities like in sensor crop that will allow you to zoom in up to 2x without losing any quality at a maximum resolution of up to 50 megapixels.
And then you have a 10 megapixel 3x camera just like the current Samsung flagship Galaxy S23 Ultra and then if you want even more zoom you have a 50 megapixel 5x zoom camera that will actually allow you to zoom up to 10x without using any quality at native 12MP resolution using the same sensor crop technology.
So you’re not missing out at all in the zoom department. Because you are getting a better quality thanks to a non upscaled 12MP shot at 10X compared to the current system. Plus it will also be able to zoom up to 100x. Plus there Gonna be AI upscaling to upscale it to a much higher resolution. The Ultra-wide angle and the selfie cameras are gonna stay unchanged. All of them will also support 8K up to 30PS, even though we are hearing that there is going to be an option for 4K 120FPS, which is pretty exciting.
Galaxy S24 series other specs
Other than that, we know that Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for galaxy is coming to all these phones, but only in few markets like US and Canada as shown in the specs sheet, Because there is also going to be Exynos 2400 variant for the standard and the plus model worldwide. The Ultra model will be exclusively powered by the Snapdragon chip everywhere.
Now 5,000 mAh battery on the Ultra, 4900 mAh on the plus and 4,000 mAh on the standard cheaper model. 45w fast charging, 15w wireless charging, 4.5w reverse wireless charging on both the plus and the ultra model. The base Galaxy S24 model going to have 25W faster charging max. Another thing that we can see is that 12 gigabytes of RAM is gonna be standard on both the plus and the ultra model and its gonna be 8 gigabytes on the smaller one.
The same way it will also come with 128 gigabyte base storage with UFS 3.1 technology. Even though it will have a UFS 4.0 256GB option. The plus and the ultra will start with UFS 4.0 256 gigabytes with a 512 gigabytes as an option but the ultra will also have a 1TB variant all.
All of them come with these colors, black gray violet and yellow, they will be named differently. And that’s all we can see from the spec sheet, but we know something real cool.
Galaxy S24 series AI features
The Galaxy S24 series will also come with some great AI features. It will come with a live call translate and generative edit feature.
Well this live translation feature will actually translate the other people, speaking another different language that you don’t even understand and it will actually happen live when on the call, that too on device. But what is more cooler is that according to a publisher this will work between a non-Galaxy phone and a galaxy phone too, but, But it will debut with support for English and Spanish language before adding other languages like Korean and Japanese. this is good but what is generative edit?
Generative edit is seemingly Samsung’s answer to the Google’s magic editor. And it will actually require internet connection to do all. Keep that in mind but most of the AI features are gonna be on device means there will not even use the internet to do work like object eraser in video, night mode in video. Plus there is gonna be Nightography zoom. Which pretty much explains that even if you use a zoom camera in the night, photos are gonna be crazy good. This document also shows that there is gonna be high resolution option, which is actually something we have already heard in the form of “ramster” that it will upscale the photos to a much higher resolution than it is shot at.

Galaxy S24 series Price
So now the most exciting thing the price and the pre-order bonuses what we know so far. If you look at the EU pricing you will see a different kind of trend this year, there Galaxy S24 will start at 899 euros. And it will go up to €959 for the upgraded storage. but if you compare that with Galaxy S23, then it looks like Galaxy S24 is about €50 less costly.
Galaxy S24 plus will start at €1149 for the 256GB base model. Last years plus model started at 1200 euros, so it’s actually cheaper but the same thing is not true for the ultra though, it actually starts at 1,449 euros. last years Galaxy S23 Ultra started at €1,400 so it’s 50 euros more costlier for the same 256 gigabyte model. But same isn’t the case for the higher storage options of the Galaxy S24 Ultra model, they are slightly cheaper in comparison.
By the way Satellite connectivity might or might not come to the galaxy S24 models, it’s still not confirmed. if Qualcomm is not interested in this then Samsung can’t really do anything about that. And even if it is coming it is coming to only a few selected markets, so it’s not that much useful of a thing because at the end of the day it will be a subscription based product anyway.
Anyway Walmart accidentally posted it’s listing for the Galaxy S24 plus. It shows the onyx black color. And it also shows that that there is going to be a 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256GB storage.
So you might be thinking, what about the US price. If you look at the last year’s European pricing versus US pricing then the leak saying that the Galaxy S24 models will costs the same as the Galaxy S23 series, kind of makes sense. or it might even become slightly cheaper. So if it does happen then it is actually good for us plus we are also hearing that the pre-order bonuses will look almost the same as last year’s models like you’re gonna get double the storage for free if you pre-order the phone and you will get discount when you grab galaxy watch or the galaxy buds FE together with the phone.
