Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra specs and first look at the renders are something we are expecting for so long. But we now have all the colored renders and marketing specs sheet of the whole Galaxy S24 series and this is epic.
These are the color options, there is a violet color finally after a long time, galaxy note 9 had a violet color. They call it cobalt violet this time. There is onyx black which is the space black kind of color but it much more lighter, there is a marble gray, which is actually the most closest to white on these Galaxy S24 and then there is gonna be the amber yellow color. it kind of reminds me of the Google pixel 6 gold color. This is the gold looking galaxy after a really really long time.
These are the same color options will also be available for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. But they will be named differently like titanium black, titanium grey, titanium yellow and titanium violet and they look amazing but one thing you can clearly see is that the galaxy S24 Ultra as expected looks almost identical to the S23 Ultra or even Galaxy S22 ultra.
And that’s not the bad part though because this is a very Unique and minimal design. But this time it is getting more flatter from both the front, the back and even from the sides. We have already seen the live images to confirm that.
The S-pen though has slight bit of change. if you can’t really notice the the bottom of the s-pen actually is flat this time unlike the other two past Galaxy ultra models. But that’s probably it. I don’t think S-pen really need that kind of huge improvements anyway, its already so good, but overall the phone actually has a lot of improvements, like at the front even though the front display is flat but there is a slight curve at the sides, like a very tiny curve but for the bezels.
And this is also the first year Samsung gonna introduce on the notes / ultra models, very thin and symmetrical bezels all around. And this is a big improvement. Because Galaxy S22 even had much more slimmer bezels than the Ultra model or the note models before.
And the same kind of thing can be seen about the base standard Galaxy S24 and S24 plus they all have very thin and symmetrical Bezels. This is just so crazy looking but they are even more flattered from the sides than the ultra model, like totally flat this time.
if you look at the renders of the sides specifically, you can actually see that there is a slight curve where the back glass is meeting the frame. It’s so damn refreshing design. But the camera array, it kind of looks same as Galaxy S23 series. I don’t mind.
Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Specs
But for those who don’t know Samsung is also gonna redefine the design with their S25 series we heard recently. Now we have the big thing, all the major specs, official ones. so first and foremost thing, 6.8 inch screen for the ultra model, 6.7 inch screen for the plus and there is gonna be a 6.2 inch screen on the smaller Galaxy S24.
All of them are gonna be the same exact panels, this is the real cool thing, there is no differentiation between them. The dynamic AMOLED 2 X panel QHD+ resolution for both Ultra and the plus and the standard model because it has smaller screen it doesn’t really need that much resolution it is capped at 1080p.
Other than that the brightness wise all of them are getting insane upgrades. 2600 Nits confirmed. Insane Numbers. This is a big big jump even over the 1750 nits of the current Galaxy S23 series.
But the same thing can’t be said about the cameras on the standard models, they’re still gonna come with a 50 megapixel sensor, don’t really know if its a new sensor or not. but will be able to capture 8k videos as well no changes but the main camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have the same 200 megapixel camera but it is also actually a newer sensor. It’s the ISOCELL HP2SX camera, optimized variant.
And this sensor of its own is a very big upgrade. Even though the sensor size is still the same 1/1.3 inch sensor with 0.6 micrometer size pixels but it has so much of capabilities added.
Out of all the capabilities added to the sensor it will have one most interesting feature sensor crop and that is to zoom without losing any quality. This 200MP camera will be able to zoom upto 2x at a max resolution up to 50 megapixels down from 200MP max at 1x.
And this is something that Samsung even gonna put on their marketing materials as well. call it quad telephoto phone with 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x. But this sensor crop feature that we are gonna see on the main camera that will be able to zoom up to 2x is also be inside the 48/50MP 5x telephoto camera. which will allow the 5X zoom camera to take a 12MP native 10x photos and upto 100x zoom photos using AI. So Technically it will be much more sharper than the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
And we’ve also heard that this camera will also be able to capture 8k videos because after all it’s a much more than 33 megapixel(8K res), so it can capture 8k.
Other than that, the S24 plus is getting 12 gigabytes of RAM as standard, 256 and 512 gigabytes of storage options. The S24 will come with the same 8 gigabytes of RAM as last years models, 128 gigabytes of base storage there is gonna be a 256 gigabytes model but we have also heard in the past that there might be region specific 512 gigabytes model of this device as well. The ultra model though, it’s the same 12 gigabytes standard RAM, with 256GB base, 512Gb and 1TB storage options.
Battery wise, the ultra model is not getting a big upgrade it’s a 5000mAh battery. Fast charging zero to 65% in 30 minutes according to Samsung’s marketing material or leaked marketing material. And the same thing can be said about this Galaxy 24 plus but the battery capacity is going to be 4,900 up from 4,700. The S24 also getting a small little upgrade to 4,000 mAh battery but zero to 50% in about 30 minutes but then we have the other thing aside from the IP68 rating on all of them, there is one big change coming to the ultra model and we have been talking for so long about this.
It’s that Titanium frame, how can you forget about that this is gonna be a big big jump because in terms of durability and lightness it is a best combination the pros of both aluminum and stainless steel it is not as heavy as stainless steel yet it is much more stronger than the aluminum. So in case Samsung make the phone heavier, phone gonna be more stronger and if they want to have the same kind of rigidity as the aluminum models, they can make the phone weight much less. But the plus and the standard model are gonna come with the same armor aluminum 2.0, really cool.
