Samsung’s upcoming flagships will get updates for seven years. Now, the publication doesn’t really confirm if the seven years will apply only to the security updates, but hopefully Android One UI and feature updates will also be included in this. That means it’s going to compete directly with the Pixel 8 in terms of updates. And this is a big claim. Just think about it.
Samsung has been great with One UI updates. They are fast, stable, and the best Android skin out in the market. And to have that for seven years on a phone is a really good idea. A really good thing.
So, with all that, and the camera upgrades, the titanium build quality, and the seven years of updates, Galaxy S24 Ultra seems like a big upgrade. But then again, it depends on which phone you’re coming from and how satisfied or dissatisfied you are with that and definitely, if you want to know every single thing about the device, I have already told you in the last video. Check that out.
Oh, by the way, the price is expected to be the same in the US. Maybe it’s going to be even cheaper than that. That’s a great thing. Plus, the pre-order bonuses are the same as the last year’s models, double the storage at the same price if you pre-order them and bigger discounts if you buy Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Watches with that.
And in the European market, the S24 and S24 Plus will be cheaper than the last year’s models. But the S24 Ultra will be actually 50 bucks more expensive than the last year’s Ultra model.
Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. Which phone are you going to upgrade from? And are you really upgrading?
